About Us

Mary Ellen Taylor
Mary Ellen discovered she had a talent for accounting after graduating from high school. Shortly after moving from Swormville, NY to Kennesaw, GA in 1979, she became immersed in a new bookkeeping service working for her first mentor, (fondly known as “Ms R”), and helped her build her business, which was mostly construction related accounting. Since then, she has focused on public accounting and tax work and opened her own firm in 1992. Mary Ellen has been a member of QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program since 1997.
Mary Ellen loves working with her clients, many of which she has had a long-time business relationship. The team approach and collaborating with her amazing clients and staff is important to her.
Truly blessed with an exceptional and hard-working team, she is grateful to have Juanita, Crysta, and Lisa in her life.
Aside from focusing on business and clients, she also enjoys the company of Luna, and Mr. Meow, her beloved feline sidekicks. Gardening is a favorite pastime, rain or shine.

Juanita Gomez
Juanita is a Staff Accountant on the MET team. She began her accounting journey by taking an elective class in high school. Numbers and solving problems piqued her interest, it was then that she knew she wanted to pursue that career path. Now she has 20 years of experience working with a variety of businesses from small startups to non-profit entities.
When she is not working with numbers, she is busy with her family, kids sporting events and volunteering in her community.

Lisa Marion
Lisa has been working in accounting for over 20 years and has honed her skills in bookkeeping through the years by working with a wide range of clients. Early in her career, she developed a keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail. With extensive experience in payroll, inventory management, and businesses that struggle with cash flow, she has proven to be a valuable asset to our team.
Her passion for accurate and efficient bookkeeping speaks volumes, though it does not overshadow her passion for Disney. You will always find a hidden Mickey somewhere on her desk. We can always count on Lisa to make us laugh with her quick wit and funny commentary.
